about
No Periphery is an experiment of limitations, produced in a blink of time with minimal communication. It deals with the reflection of our individual selves, as seen through the lens of the pandemic, where we've reached both internally and toward our future projections. It is a song about exploration and transition. After a year of isolation, we see a new vision for ourselves and each other, embracing the abundance of possibilities on the horizon. Without restriction, fully focused, no periphery.
There's a bank in my backyard
And I've got no light to grow my plants in
Without no room for voice
No room for playing around
I met a person out here that I think I could be good friends with
Hey,
Why can't you sleep?
We'll keep the TV going
Will that make you feel okay?
Okay.
Not much place to put things without a shelf
I want to be able to see everything
So that nothing is hidden and within eyeline
All center, no periphery
Like the shadow of the bank
Or the valley winds that pull a sand dune
I'll pull everything into me
And hold it as a trinket
